Gameplay

  • Increased ground friction
  • Checkpoints not longer take you to locations of checkpoints in levels other than the one you're currently in

User Interface

  • Updated button graphics on Level Select screen
  • Added Options button and menu to Demo Main Menu screen
  • Changed HUD buttons to show Xbox controls
  • Added text controls on how to open the Photo Mode menus to various menus
  • Added controls image to loading screen
  • Level Select menu now properly shows descriptions for each level

Levels

  • Shiver Swamp
    • Made first mushroom spring jump easier
    • Made mushroom jump after the first two monkey bars easier
    • Changed some Stardust placement and amounts
    • Moved Abel camper to campfire area with the other 3 campers
    • Made mushroom jump during the twin cliff section of the swamp easier
    • Made various platforms under the giant tree larger
    • Adjusted placement of platforms in final silo climb in the caves
  • Headline Street
    • Moved Player Start position
    • Moved first checkpoint position
    • Moved Upgrade Platform position
    • Moved Gemini Position
    • Gave Gemini dialog
    • Adjusted Construction Site scaffolding section to be more clear
    • Added crashed police truck in front of office to make area more clear
    • Gave collision to various pipes in the sewers
    • Deleted grind rail from Penthouse
    • Fence gate on Office now swings outward instead of inward
    • Moved switch to timed lift sequence in Construction Building Site

    • Added new animations for sliding
    • Added new animations for rail grinding

Objects

  • Bouncy objects now snap Rad to their centers to help with platforming
  • Added Cutscene Manager
    • Fixes bug where if the player jumped during a cutscene they would lose their jump until they took damage
